Privacy & cookies policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
We treat your details the way we treat your stay: we ask only for what is needed and use it only to look after you.
01Who we are
The controller of your personal data is [business name], VAT no. [VAT no.], operator of Nashua Boutique Guesthouse, Samarina, 511 00 Grevena, Greece. Contact: info@nashua-samarina.gr.
02What we collect
Only what you give us when you send a booking request through the form or contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp: your name, phone number, email address, dates of stay, number of guests and anything you write in your message.
The website never asks for card details and no payment is made through it.
03Why we use it
To reply to your request, tell you about availability and rates, and complete your booking. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
We do not send marketing messages, we do not sell your details and we do not share them with anyone for their own purposes.
04Who else processes it
Only the providers needed to run the website, acting on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the website and protects it from attacks.
- Web3Forms, which delivers the request form to our inbox.
Some of them may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
05How long we keep it
If no booking is made, we delete your request within 12 months at the latest. If you book, we keep your details for as long as Greek tax and tourism law requires.
06Your rights
You may at any time ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or transfer your data, or object to its use. Just email info@nashua-samarina.gr.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
07Cookies
This website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and stores nothing on your device. That is why we do not ask for cookie consent.
Only our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it detects suspicious traffic. It does not identify you, expires quickly and does not require consent.
08Third-party services
- Weather. The temperature and snow shown at the top of the page come directly from Open-Meteo. To display them, your browser connects to Open-Meteo, which sees your IP address, as with any connection on the internet. No cookies are set.
- Fonts, photos and video are served from our own server. Nothing is loaded from Google or social networks.
- Google Maps and WhatsApp open only if you tap the relevant link. From there, their own privacy terms apply.
09Changes
If anything in this policy changes, you will find it here with a new update date.
